About why I did this

In June 2013 I got really sick. The doctor didn't know what was wrong with me. They were testing me for everything. Everything kept coming back as normal. So I was talking with a gal I worked with and she was telling me about her daughter and allergies. So I headed back to my doctor and asked to be tested for Celiac disease. I waited thinking I could deal with being gluten free. The results came back. I did not have Celiac disease, which is good. But rather I was allergic to wheat, corn, soy, peanuts, and sesame; not so good news.
I first went through a really hard turning point. It is not just hard to deal with all of the allergies, but how people react to the news. I cried for the first 2 months. People telling me that they would die if it happen to them was not something I liked hearing. People asking if it really sucked to be me. I cried the times I heard that. I was looking for someone who was truly understanding and could not find anyone.
So now I have about 6 months of my free life style. It is still really hard. I must read the labels for everything! It takes me more than a hour to get though a store. I have found some things I really love and will pay the price for and some that are really gross. I used to eat out all the time, now I have 4 places I can go to eat out.
My goal with is blog is to help people who want support from a free eater. I have a few recipes and some advice. I hope I can help.
